Hello, I am Malcolm E (Mac) Taylor, the Word Tailor.

Although I am older now, I like this picture of me taken several years ago when my wife and I went to Cleveland, Ohio to participate in the 50th anniversary celebrations for her aunt and uncle.

This site is still under construction and at present is not well organized. Please be patient with me.I will add more content as time permits, and as I get photos reduced in size for proper display on a computer monitor. 

The picture is of my home near the town of Llano, Texas.  I have about 4 and a half acres (1.8 hectares) of undeveloped land covered with two or more varieties of oak, some mesquite trees, cactus, and native grasses.The land is too rocky to farm, but it suits me well.

What This Site is About

This site is a place in which I will present things of importance to me, and hopefully of importance, or interest, to you.

As I mention above, this site is dedicated to exploring ideas through words and pictures. It will be partly a blog, but it will also present some of my writing as well as some pieces by friends who have graciously given me permission to display a sampling of their stories and poems.

I will provide links to guest writer's web sites or e-mail addresses so that visitors may send comments, or place purchase orders.

I am an avid amateur photographer with a passion for pictures of flowers, shrubs, trees, and cacti. I also take pictures of structures which display interesting angles and lines. 

From time to time, I will also showcase pictures by other photographers and provide links to their web sites.

Because I am both a writer and a photographer, I like to assist others who are interested in either, or both, of these arts, and will provide links to various sites that I have found useful as I pursue my interests.
